Shipping policy

SHIPPING POLICY – SWISS ACCENT

This Shipping Policy describes the terms governing the preparation, dispatch and delivery of orders placed at the Swiss Accent store.


1) Information and Contact

2) Delivery Zones

Swiss Accent ships orders to the zones available at checkout. The countries/regions available and the delivery options may change over time. If a destination does not appear at checkout, it means we do not (or do not yet) deliver to that area.


3) Order Processing Times

Orders are generally prepared and handed over to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and public holidays). During periods of high demand (promotions, holidays, year-end) or in the event of logistical constraints, processing times may be extended. In such cases, we will do our best to inform you.


4) Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on:

  • the destination,
  • the carrier,
  • the selected delivery method,
  • and any customs inspections (international deliveries).

The timeframes indicated on the website and/or at checkout are estimated and not guaranteed.


5) Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before the order is confirmed. They depend in particular on:

  • the delivery country,
  • the delivery method,
  • the weight/volume of the parcel,
  • and any applicable promotional conditions.

6) Delivery Tracking

When the delivery option includes tracking, a shipping confirmation email is sent to you with a tracking number (where provided by the carrier). Note: tracking information may take some time to update after the parcel has been handed over to the carrier.


7) Customs, Taxes and Import Fees (International Deliveries)

For deliveries outside Switzerland, customs duties, import taxes, local VAT and/or handling fees may be required by the authorities of the destination country. Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the website, these charges:

  • are not included in the product prices or shipping costs,
  • and remain the responsibility of the customer.

We are unable to estimate these costs in advance, as they depend on the local regulations of the destination country.


8) Delivery Address and Inaccurate Information

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided (name, full address, postcode, phone number if required). In the event of an incomplete/incorrect address or missing information that may result in:

  • a delay,
  • a failed delivery,
  • a return to the depot/sender,

Swiss Accent cannot be held responsible. Additional reshipping fees may be charged.


9) Lost, Delayed or "Delivered" Parcels

Delay If your parcel is delayed, we invite you to check the tracking and then contact us at info@swissaccent.ch if there has been no update for several days.

Parcel marked as "delivered" but not received If the tracking shows "delivered" but you have not received the parcel:

  • Check around your property (letterbox, neighbours, concierge, collection point).
  • Contact the carrier with the tracking number.
  • Write to us at info@swissaccent.ch with your order number.

Depending on the situation, a carrier investigation may be opened. Processing depends on the carrier's timeframes and procedures.

Lost parcel If the parcel is declared lost by the carrier (or if the investigation confirms the loss), we will offer an appropriate solution depending on stock availability and the circumstances (resending or refund, for example).


10) Damaged Parcel Upon Receipt

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged:

  • take photos of the parcel (outside and inside) and the damaged item,
  • keep the packaging,
  • contact us as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after receipt at info@swissaccent.ch, quoting your order number.

We will advise you on the next steps (carrier claim, replacement, exchange or refund as applicable).


11) Split Shipments

It is possible that an order may be shipped in several parcels (for example, in the event of different availability). In such cases, you will receive multiple shipping confirmations where applicable.
